Planning is under way for the drilling of a new borewell in Nallampally a very poor area without access to good drinking water. It is hoped that the well will be drilled and installed by late November at a cost of approx £900.

| Pastor Paul Ciniraj writes:
By the grace of God we came back from Nallampally (tamil Nadu) today after finishing and dedicating the borewell.
People of Nallampally village very happy and they praise and thank God for the borewell. And also they are so much grateful to you, Nancy Aunt and Hope Ministries India. All are praying for you.
Nallampally people were getting water from Panchayat once in 15 days only. (It is not exaggeration). When the water comes they collect it in as much pots and vessels. Nobody can keep it for 15 days. So there were another borewell about 1 and half kilometers away from Nallampally village. It was salty water also. Yet people had to go by walk, collect the water in pots and carry it on heads to home.
Now they are so happy. Everybody was afraid whether they will get water from our borewell. But praise the Lord. God has sanctioned them plenty of water through our borewell. Again we have to praise the Lord that now they get from our borewell is good water, not salty. |
